one of the unusual things I have lived with is having lived MOST of my life in the Eastern Time Zone is , for example, Cape Cod being in the very east of the zone and Florida in the west of the zone. I used to go N/S monthly for a week or two at a time and it got dark at different hours. Other than that it was a piece of cake.
Looking at this map I think there is some indication of how that difference impacts those living on the east or west of their time zone. and what they would prefer. See Maine 🙂
